About

One person, decades across small business, education, and nonprofit operations.

Chris Iacofano has spent his career close to the operational middle of those worlds. The plates on this site are the current, concrete expression of that experience: practical systems, restrained design, honest write-ups.

Principles

Judgment over novelty
Years of real operating work taught me which problems deserve software, which deserve a checklist, and which deserve to be left alone.
Evidence over claims
Every skill named on this site traces back to a plate you can read. If I can't show it, it isn't here.
Budget-aware by habit
I default to reusing what exists, buying what's simple, and building only what earns its maintenance cost.
Teaching is part of building
A system is finished when someone who isn't me can understand it, run it, and change it safely.

Working style

This remains a high-attention, business-hours practice. It is not a 24/7 help desk and not a promise that one answer solves everything. Expect thoughtful work, clear follow-through, and honest limits.
